Weidingen
The pilgrimage church in Weidingen was built in the 13th century and rebuilt as a choir church in the 18th century. Worth seeing are the Pietà on the main altar (around 1450), the baptismal font in the choir, the stone altar with the Pietà (around 1650) and the helper saints in the north aisle as well as the retable on the north wall with the strong "Marshals of God" Hubertus, Antonius, Cornelius, Quirinius and the women Barbara and Lucia.
People have been making pilgrimages to the Marien pilgrimage church for more than 700 years. The pilgrimages usually take place in March/April.
