The Felsenland Südeifel - the name says it all: the holiday region in the south-west of the Eifel is characterised by rock - and is extraordinarily diverse and varied!

The south of the region - around Irrel, Ernzen, Ferschweiler and Bollendorf - is dominated by the bizarre rock formations of Luxembourg sandstone.  The north is characterised by the slate cliffs of the Islek along the deeply incised valleys of the Enz and Our rivers. The landscape directly on the German-Luxembourg border is characterised by its unique diversity.
