Routes for wheelchair access equipment in the Southern Eifel Nature Park
The South Eifel is ideal for barrier-free exploration on routes specially tested for wheelchair access equipment
Pulling devices for wheelchairs on hiking trails are an important part of the barrier-free offer in the Southern Eifel Nature Park.
The nature park has designated routes that are suitable for travelling with traction devices. Please only use these paths with the wheelchair pulling device, use is at your own risk.
The data of interest for using the trails, such as length, metres in altitude, duration and degree of difficulty, are indicated in the route maps, as well as barrier-free parking spaces, barrier-free WCs and certified hosts. The route maps also show the rescue points, which can also be assigned using the "Help in the forest" app.
The plans of the routes suitable for wheelchair pullers can be found here.
You can find details on the hire of the towing devices with the option to book online here.
